Digital Volumetric Analysis of CAD/CAM Ceramic Materials after Tooth Brushing
نویسندگان
چکیده
Objective: The objective of this in vitro study was to evaluate the volumetric wear three CAD/CAM (computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing) ceramic materials. Materials and Methods: materials evaluated were CEREC Blocs (Dentsply Sirona), Initial LRF (GC) Amber Mill (HASS Corp). All samples (n=30) subjected simulated brushing (100,000 cycles). assessed by superimposing pre- post-brushing scans obtained with an intraoral optical scanner (CEREC Primescan; Dentsply Sirona, Germany), which then imported into OraCheck 5.0 software Germany). Results: tested showed no statistically significant differences terms average (p-= 0.455). Conclusion: Therefore, it can be concluded that have a good behavior under brushing, without alterations.

Tooth Brushing in Children
Toothbrush is a well-known tool in oral care. Effective tooth brushing can help in the management of dental caries and periodontal disease. Familiarity of children with this device is important. Dentists and their assistant need adequate information about children's oral hygiene to educate them and their parents. The aim of this review was to pinpoint the main issues of brushing teeth in childr...
متن کاملTooth brushing as routine behaviour
Regular tooth brushing is considered an excellent preventive measure for oral plaque control. Yet despite over one hundred years of effort by dental professionals, levels of tooth brushing remain distressingly low. Evidence from a variety of studies suggests that tooth brushing is commonly performed in a regularised, automatic (i.e., routine) manner. Here it is argued a routine can be considere...
متن کاملTooth brushing, tooth wear and dentine hypersensitivity--are they associated?
Evidence suggests that patients suffer the painful symptoms of dentine hypersensitivity when dentine is exposed and the dentinal tubule system is opened to the oral cavity to allow stimuli to trigger a neural response in the pulp via a hydrodynamic mechanism. The processes needed to localise lesions of dentine hypersensitivity include loss of enamel and/or gingival recession. Whilst tooth brush...
متن کاملTooth brushing inhibits oral bacteria in dogs
In this study, scaling, polishing and daily tooth brushing were performed in 20 beagle dogs, and the number of oral bacteria was determined using a bacterial counter. The dogs were randomized into the scaling (S), scaling + polishing (SP), scaling + tooth daily brushing (SB) and scaling + polishing + tooth daily brushing (SPB) groups. Samples were collected from the buccal surface of the maxill...
